That You Need to Know!

Tell your kids to prepare dance performance for time limits stipulated for
their age category on our specially designed theme!

Our experienced Judges will select the top 3 best submissions!

Every child who participates will be awarded a “Dance Wizard” Certificate
and a chance to get his/her dance video published. Excited? 🙂

Folk Dance!

Dance is a beautiful expression of culture, tradition, and storytelling. Folk dances bring history to life through rhythmic movements, vibrant costumes, and energetic performances. What if you could showcase the rich heritage of a folk dance and mesmerize everyone with your performance? Sounds exciting, right?

Wizkids invites all young dancers to participate in our Dance Wizards Contest! Choose a traditional folk dance, and bring the spirit of the culture alive through your graceful moves. Record your performance and share it with us!

We can’t wait to see your rhythmic expressions and vibrant performances!

06 to 08 Years

Present any Folk Dance performance for the mentioned time limits for your age category- (Classical Dance forms that are included as Folk Dance cannot be performed for this contest)

    • Theme - Folk Dance!
    • Time Limit: 2-3 Min
    • Language - Any
Points to Remember
    1. You can choose any dance style except classical dance forms.
    2. The lyrics must be age-appropriate. They should not be offensive/ derogatory.
    3. Please ensure that a fresh dance performance, recorded for this contest only is submitted (group dance, duets & stage performance are not allowed).
    4. The performance must not be derogatory/offensive in any way.
    5. Do not rent or invest in expensive costumes. We shall judge the child for his / her dancing talent.

9 to 15 Years

Present any Folk Dance performance for the mentioned time limits for your age category- (Classical Dance forms that are included as Folk Dance cannot be performed for this contest)

    • Theme - Folk Dance!
    • Time Limit: 3-5 Min
    • Language - Any

9-15 Yrs: 3-5 min

Yes, to ensure level playing field we have the following age group categories- 6-8 Yrs, 9-11 Yrs, 12-15 Yrs

No. You have to perform on any dance form ( except classical dance forms) based on the given theme of the month.

Any child who is aged between 6 Years - 15 Years can participate.
