During the Covid period, we were all stuck in our homes and the lockdown was no less than a depression for the kids. ‘NO PLAY NO OUTDOORS’ made all the kids frustrated. It was around this time that I came across wizkidscarnival, an online platform offering a range of contests for kids to explore their innate talents.
I enrolled my daughter in a few competitions just for fun, to keep her engaged and divert her mind, and WHOOOOO…. It was a blast. She enjoyed it thoroughly. She got a few certificates, medals, and prizes, which meant that she was on cloud nine. I was happy to have found a unique forum to keep my child creatively engaged during the tough COVID times. Her journey with wizkids which started just as a way to negate the harsh reality of COVID turned into a fruitful creative journey even past the pandemic’s demise.
Simultaneously, I found myself looking into the offerings, and a deep urge set within me to contribute via my thoughts and suggestions. This made me touch base with the Founder, Ms. Mansi Awadhani and thus began my journey with wizkids as an employee.
As I stepped into the vibrant world of Wiz Kids Carnival, I had no idea that this journey would be a turning point in my life. A celebration of creativity, talent, curious minds, and innovation, that brought together young minds from diverse backgrounds is how I would sum up wizkids in a nutshell. As i came in contact with lots of children from nooks and corners of our country on this platform, I was really flabbergasted to see such immense talent and curiosity. This job is no longer a job to me. It is a passion and I long for it every day.
One of the most significant learnings from my journey was the importance of teamwork and collaboration. Working with colleagues from different walks of life taught me valuable lessons in communication, empathy, and adaptability.
The talent among kids was a pool of colors, sounds, and emotions. From the mesmerizing performances to the thought-provoking speeches to outstanding recitals, all were marvelous.
As I reflect on my association with wizkids, I realize that it has enriched me in ways I never thought possible. It has helped me develop a growth mindset, build confidence, and foster a sense of community and belonging.
In conclusion, my journey with wizkidscarnival has been a transformative experience that has shaped me into a more compassionate, creative, and confident individual. I look forward to this association to unravel many more aspects of my personality that are still unknown and most of all to learn something new every day.
