Overview
This Privacy Policy describes the information collected by wizkidscarnival.com (“WKC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through our website and app, and how we use that information.
We Collect Limited Information with Our Lead Forms and Websites
We don’t require you to provide any information, and we don’t collect any information about you except what is asked in the forms we ask you to fill.
We collect names, phone numbers, and email addresses, used to send limited newsletters, promotional messages, or to collect feedback.
If you decide to no longer participate with us in the future, you can ask us to delete your email address and phone number from our database by contacting us at support@wizkidscarnival.com.
Please note that we may not be able to action deletion requests while a competition, subscription, or membership is still active, as this data is necessary to deliver the service you have signed up for; deletion will take effect once the relevant competition or subscription period has ended, and the related deliverables have been fully delivered from our end.
By accepting these conditions, you consent to your information being used by us for marketing purposes, including advertisements, newsletters, or offers sent via email, SMS, apps, or social media.
You can opt out at any time, free of charge, by contacting our support email at support@wizkidscarnival.com.
Data of Children (Participants Under 18)
wizkidscarnival conducts digital competitions, physical competitions, and events (whether physical or digital) held to showcase children’s talents.
Where a participant is under 18 years of age, we collect and process their personal data based on the consent of a parent or lawful guardian (“Parent”). Registration for participants under 18 is intended to be completed by a Parent on the child’s behalf.
What we collect for child participants
- Name
- Age/date of birth
- School/grade (where relevant to a competition category)
- Parent/guardian contact details (phone, email)
- Performance-related submissions (photos, videos, audio recordings) uploaded for digital competitions, physical competitions, or events (whether physical or digital) held to showcase children’s talents
- Any other details that may be necessary for us to conduct the competition or showcase the child’s work to their school, classes or any related institutions where the child studies or goes to learn a particular skill
Collaboration with Third Parties
For competitions run in collaboration or partnership with a third party (for example, a co-branded contest with a partner brand), consent is captured separately, per event, before registration.
The Parent is asked to explicitly check consent for data sharing with both WKC and the named partner before registering the child for that specific contest.
No sharing with third parties by default.
Outside the collaboration scenario above, WKC does not share children’s personal data with any third party.
If a Parent does not consent to data sharing for a collaborative competition, we do not share the child’s data with that partner; depending on the terms of that specific collaboration, the child may not be able to participate in that contest.
Data already shared with a partner
Once a child’s data has been shared with a partner under a specific, consented collaboration, that data is held and processed by the partner under their own privacy policy.
WKC does not retain control over that data once shared.
Parents wishing to have data corrected or deleted on the partner’s side will need to raise that request directly with the partner.
Parental rights
A Parent may, at any time, request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child’s data held by WKC, or withdraw consent, by writing to support@wizkidscarnival.com.
As with any deletion request, we may not be able to action a deletion request while the child’s competition, subscription, or membership is still active, as this data is necessary to deliver the service; deletion will take effect once the relevant competition or subscription period has ended and the related deliverables have been fully delivered from our end.
Digital Magazines
Competition entries are featured in WKC’s digital magazines, publicly accessible on our website for a limited period (typically 0–3 months from publication).
A magazine entry may include the child’s name and, in some cases, age.
Winning entries may display a badge/cup indicating winning status.
- A Parent may request, prior to publication, that their child’s entry (including any photo) not be included.
- If removal is requested after publication, WKC will remove the entry or make it private within 14 business days of receiving the request.
- Removal requests must be emailed to both abhishek@wizkidscarnival.com and support@wizkidscarnival.com, identifying the child’s name, competition, and magazine edition.
Performance Media & Promotional Use
Digital competitions, physical competitions, and events (whether physical or digital) held to showcase children’s talents involve participants submitting or being recorded in photos, videos, or audio (“Performance Media”).
By registering a child for a WKC digital or physical competition, or an event held to showcase children’s talents, a Parent grants WKC the right to use the child’s Performance Media (individually or together with other participants) for promotional and marketing purposes, including paid advertising, across WKC’s website, app, and social media channels.
No compensation is payable for such usage.
This right applies for 5 years from the date of the relevant competition, event, or magazine publication.
Where a Parent has opted their child’s entry out of the digital magazine, that opt-out also extends to promotional use of the same entry.
Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you submit a support request, we may receive your email address, phone number, and other information related to your request (“Support Information”), used only to support the internal operations of our website.
